Casei

Casei is a kitchen appliance designed to bring ease to the traditional method of making paneer. It offers a self-contained, hassle-free experience that simplifies preparation without distancing it from its roots. Grounded in domestic routines and cultural familiarity, Casei makes paneer-making cleaner, healthier, and more intuitive within everyday life.

Challenge.

The idea for Casei emerged from a growing discomfort around the quality and trustworthiness of store-bought paneer — often perceived as impure, overly processed, or inconsistent. In response, many households have begun returning to the act of making paneer at home — a culturally rooted task tied to control, care, and everyday nourishment.

Yet, the traditional process remains messy and fragmented, involving multiple makeshift tools and steps. Casei addresses these friction points through a compact, self-contained appliance that brings clarity and ease to the experience. By integrating heating, draining, pressing, and storage into a single unit, it transforms a scattered process into one that’s clean, intuitive, and quietly rewarding.

Output.

Casei simplifies this hectic task by improvisation and technology. With just milk and lemon juice added to their respective containers, the rest is handled by Casei. Once the quantity of milk is set, it heats up and curdling begins and at just the right moment it prompts to drain the contents for compression. Within minutes, what was once a scattered process becomes simple, thoughtful and whole. Fresh and healthy paneer is ready. Casei turns an overlooked kitchen ritual into an experience.
